Mozingo Music is very proud to introduce Mr. Rene Lopez to the Mozingo Music team. Born and raised in St. Louis and the surrounding area, Rene has worked in music all of his life. With 31 years experience setting up and repairing guitars at St. Louis Music (SLM) from 1977-2008, Rene has a true passion for playing and repairing guitars.  Playing music since age 4, Rene's primary instrument is guitar, learning the instrument from his dad. A professional St. Louis musician, Rene also plays keyboards and bass.

Rene performs expert guitar set-ups, truss rod adjustments, restrings, crack repairs, custom bridge installations (tremolo bridges), intonations, refrets, guitar restoration, electronics repair, pickup installation, input jack repair, potentiometer (pots) replacement, tuning machine installations, and repairs broken headstocks, among many other types of repair. 

Most set-ups, restrings, and minor repairs have only a 1-2 day turnaround (assuming Rene isn't completely back-logged!). Listen to what one of our customers had to say:
