Steve has been playing guitar for over 30 years. He attended the University of Iowa studying music, music theory, jazz improvisation, jazz combo performance and classical composition. He has been teaching for 30 years and with Mozingo Music since 1987. He has traveled throughout the U.S. and Canada performing with different groups and releasing several recordings. He has experience performing and teaching rock, jazz, blues, country, bluegrass, and classical music styles. Steve currently performs with the group "Paint the Earth" appearing regularly in St. Louis. He also recently appeared on the latest CD's from the group "Focus" and "James Jackson", as well as numerous other recording sessions. Steve is also a frequent performer with the "Grace Church" band in St. Louis.
